HondaVert preCAN daughter board for Honda Accord, Element, CR-V and Acura RSX ECU, which significantly expands capacity of it.
Datalog, RealTime Programming, Launch Control, Boost Control, Nitrous Control and more. Fully retains all vehicle systems. ABS, VSA, Gauges, Climate control and etc.

After replacing ECU, Cruise control system, ABS, VSA stay functional.

HondaVert preCAN board Installation

Be careful not to get soldering flux on connector CN101 and CN4 on the ECU board: when heated, the flux forms a film on the contacts and the ECU is not programmed. If there are ECU programming errors after installation, then you need to check the soldering and clean the contacts with a paper knife.

Make a hole in ECU case for USB Connector. Install preCAN Board with supplied screws from installation pack

KTuner 1.0.11.2 HondaVert Pack Installation Guide

We recommend to disable antivirus software and windows defender before installing. Software does not contain viruses, but makes changes to the system files, which may raise warning in your antivirus software or windows defender.

Run **«hvkt_setup_1.0.11.2.exe»**. Follow instructions of installation wizard.

Install **preCAN** drivers. Follow instructions of installation wizard.

Registering New Account or Login into Existing Account

Internet connection required to work with KTuner software

After first start **KTuner Assistant** guide you to install drivers. You do not need this drivers, just ignore it. Click **Next** and then **Finish**.

Registering a New Account

If you don’t have Hondavert Account in KTuner Software. Connect USB cable to **preCAN** device. In **Account Management** window enter your Email, Name and Password to create new account. Click **Register** button.
**Do not lose your account password – password recovery is a paid procedure!**

If you done everything correctly, you will see a window with a message about successful registration of your account. Click OK and then **CLOSE** in **Account Management** window.

Login Into Existing Account

If you already have Hondavert Account in KTuner Software. Connect USB cable to **preCAN** device. In **Account Management** window enter your Email, Name and Password and click **Update** button to synchronize your local data with Hondaver server.

If you done everything correctly, you will see a window with a message about successful update of your licenses. Click OK and then **CLOSE** in **Account Management** window.

Each preCAN device must be registered in your account and locked to ECU.

Registering preCAN in Account

After login, **KTuner** software will determine a new **preCAN** device that is not registered in your account and will offer to register it. Press **YES**.

If you done everything correctly, you will see a window with a message about successful registration. Click OK.

Lock preCAN device to ECU

Turn ignition ON. **KTuner** will detect a new ECU and offer you to Lock **preCAN** device to this ECU. Press **YES**.

If you done everything correctly, you will see a window with a message about successful Lock to ECU. Click OK.

preCAN LEDs meaning

There are HL1 RED, HL2 BLUE , HL3 GREEN, HL4 GREEN LEDs near the USB connector.

Mechanical and Electronic throttle bodies differences

preCAN compatible ECU’s are supports multiple types of throttle bodies

**Cable throttle**. Driven by cable. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and Idle Air Control Valve. (IACV) are mounted on the throttle body.

**Electronic Throttle**. Also known as Drive by Wire. Based on the signal from the. Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APP SENSOR).

For “swap” K engine with DBW into a chasis with a Cable, we need to buy two. modules from a Honda Accord or CR-V with DBW system:

**a) Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor module (APP SENSOR). Part Number 37971-RBB-003**

**b) DBW Control unit. Part number 37850-PPD-911**

False virus detections are possible. If you have problem with downloading – disable your Antivirus software and Windows Defender.
